Today I reached an important milestone in the unpacking process. My room is not 100% unpacked, and 98% free of junk the landlord left. For the uninitiated, my new apartment comes fully furnished to the point that it is a problem. There is junk everywhere. Every little cubby hole where you think, oh I can store some the junk there is itself filled with junk. This makes the process of unpacking take a lot longer, because I must find a box of stuff I want to unpack. Take that stuff out of the box, throw a bunch of the landlord’s stuff into the box, and stash the box in one of the lofts. Then place my stuff where it goes. As promised, pictures of my room, now that it is done.<\/p>\n
